Q.How do you handle personal information?
A. We collect only Google account information, and when you log in, we call the GoogleAPI instead of using our own login function. In addition, you can rest assured that your account information is stored on a server with strong security measures. Please check here for Type.md's privacy policy.
How to Use Type.md and its Functions
Q.How do I switch to real-time preview?
A. You can press the button with the two-window icon on the toolbar to enter the real-time preview mode.
Q.How can I display images in my Markdown file?
A. You can use the image button on the toolbar to insert an image.
Q.I am a Markdown beginner; how do I start writing?
A. To help users who are not familiar with Markdown, a cheat sheet link is provided in the toolbar.Also, shortcut buttons for tables, strike-throughs, etc. are available in the toolbar.
Q.How do I co-edit a file?
A. Open a file, click the "Share" button on the upper right corner of the screen, enter the email addresses of the users you want to share the file with, and then select either Viewer or Editor to share the file. After sharing a file, if multiple people have the same file open, it will automatically go into co-editing mode. To check who is currently co-editing a file, press the "Collaboration" button in the upper right corner of the screen. NOTE: The user who is co-editing the file must be logged in to Type.md.
Q.How do I make a voice call?
A. Open the file and click the phone icon in the upper right corner to start a voice call. You can check who is currently participating in the conversation by clicking the "Collaboration" button to the right of the phone icon. NOTE: The user who makes the voice call must be logged in to Type.md.
Q.How do I delete a file?
A. Right click on the file and press "Send to Trash" to delete the file. (Strictly speaking, the file will be moved to the trash box, so if you accidentally deleted it, you can restore it from Google Drive.)
Q.I want to check the edit history of the file.
A. You can check which user edited the file from the history management function of Google Drive. For more details, please check here.

Q.How do I set up file sharing?
A. After clicking the three-point leader in the upper right corner of the editor screen, select "Share Settings" to choose who and what sharing permissions to give. The file sharing settings are linked to the Google Drive sharing settings. Please check here for the Google Drive sharing settings.
Q.How do I cancel my account?
A. Click on the Account button on the upper right corner of the screen, then click on the Settings button and click on "Unlink Account".

About Plans and Fees
Q.What are the plans and fees?
A. Type.md offers two types of plans: Starter Plan (free) and Standard Plan (paid). The Standard Plan is currently in beta and is available for free. For more details, please check here.
Q.How do I change my plan?
A. Click on the icon button at the top right of the screen, then click on the Settings button. After that, select "Plans" from the menu on the left to change your plan.

Q.Can I use it as an internal wiki?
A. Yes, you can. You can use it as an internal wiki by categorizing items by workspace and writing knowledge information in a file.
Q.What languages are available?
A. It is available in Japanese and English. To change the language, click on "Settings" from the account button in the upper right corner of the screen, your account information will be displayed, and then select the language from there.
